Well, today is March 15th, and I managed to have myself some March Madness (only not the typical kind). This is sort of an embarrassing story, but I'm sure later in life I'll find it more funny!
My computer battery was dying and I had to get it replaced. This morning I went in to pick it up now it's fixed and I talked my roommate into going with me because I wanted company. She had class right around the time I was done so I dropped her off. As I drove to exit the parking lot I stopped before driving out into the street. Just as my car stopped I saw a blur in the corner of my eye. Moments later a bicyclist hit my car! Yes, I was hit by a bicyclist. It was special.
I put my car in park as soon as I got over my shock and panic. The guy did sort of fly up over his handle bars, but he wasn't hurt. As I was frantically making sure he was ok, he was assuring me that my car wasn't damaged. I said, "I am not worried about my car right now!" Haha. Oh dear. So then he went on his merry way. It was super duper scary, but fortunately everything was alright. So there is my adventure for the day!
OH, that's not embarrassing. It wasn't even your fault! It's the bicyclist that's probably embarrassed! Funny story!
ReplyDeleteHaha. Well I probably did pull out a little too far...but the bicyclists here are crazy! Definitely had a panic attack, but it is pretty amusing really. :)
ReplyDeleteThis made me chuckle. I'm sure that if I'd been in your place I'd have found it less funny and reacted much the same way. Although I am a little confused - why are you embarrassed? The cyclist should be for sure. How did he run into you? Weird. Thanks for sharing. :)
